However Ghauri attacked for a second time the following year, whereupon Chauhan was defeated, captured at the Second battle of tarain (1192) and was executed. Gauri was arrested but Prithvi Raj Chouhan excused Gauri, when he apologised & assured that he shall not repeat the mistake in future.
